Benefits.... The benefits of Soap Sticks have been known for years and proven time after time to increase production in gas wells that have started to load with fluid. While the traditional method of using Soap Sticks works well on some applications, more sticks are often needed throughout the day or night to keep the well producing at its optimum performance. This is where the automatic soap stick launcher is beneficial. By watching your production rate on the wells chart, you can see when the fluid starts coming in and production starts dropping off. Until now your only options were, one, either let the production continue to drop off until someone returns the next morning to drop more soap sticks, or two, make numerous trips to the well each day to drop more sticks. Either choice is costing your company time and money. With the Lightning Auto Loader Automatic Soap Stick Launcher, you are able to program preset soap drop times in the user friendly controller and it will do the rest for you. Example: You arrive at the well at 8:00 am. Production is 100 MCFpd. You drop soap sticks and in a short time the well responds by unloading fluid and production increases to 225 MCFpd. Around midday production has began to drop as fluid comes into the well bore and tubing. Production at 3:00 pm is 175 MCFpd. By midnight production is back to 100 MCFpd and remains at this level until the well is soaped again when you arrive at 8:00. If this well had a Lightning Auto Loader installed on it, it could have been programmed to drop sticks 4 times a day ; at 8 am, 2 pm,8 pm and 2 am. In this scenario, it would have been very likely you would have been able to keep this well producing in the 200 MCFpd range or greater without much effort. While this is only a scenario, we have seen many instances where these results were achieved and even greater in most instances.
